Mr. Hirota is chair of the firm’s Commercial Real Estate Department and brings over 25 years of experience in real estate litigation and counseling. He also has broad experience handling complex civil litigation matters involving breach of contract, partnership disputes, and other business torts.
Mr. Hirota is involved in all aspects of litigation and dispute resolution, representing a broad range of clients, including agents, brokers, landlords, owners, tenants, management companies, developers, landowners, homebuilders, contractors and other small to mid-size companies. He has tried dozens of real estate cases as lead counsel for both plaintiffs and defendants, and has a track record of success representing clients in state and federal courts, mediations, arbitrations and before regulatory agencies.
Mr. Hirota also assists clients in negotiating and documenting transactions, including leases, mortgage transactions, easements, foreclosures and other agreements, as well as collection matters.

Nazy Nassiri | nnassiri@nhllplawfirm.com
Ms. Nassiri obtained her law degree from University of La Verne College of Law. While in law school, she clerked for the District Attorney’s Office, as well as for a prominent plaintiffs’ medical malpractice firm which specialized in civil litigation. Ms. Nassiri also participated in the National Appellate Advocacy Competition while in law school. She won the best appellate advocate award for her appellate brief and oral arguments.
After obtaining her Juris Doctorate degree, Ms. Nassiri continued working in the medical malpractice field for several years, both on the plaintiff’s as well as the defense side. Her practice also included representing clients on appeal, and Ms. Nassiri has written and argued several appellate briefs.
Ms. Nassiri currently serves as outside general counsel for DKI Restotech, a restoration and construction company. She has extensive experience in litigation and transactional law in the areas of commercial lease disputes, breach of contract disputes, contract negotiations, purchase/sale agreements, collection matters, and construction defect litigation.
Ms. Nassiri has over 10 years of civil litigation experience in areas of medical malpractice, serious personal injury, elder abuse, products liability, business, collection, insurance coverage, and construction defect. Ms. Nassiri is also multilingual and speaks English, Farsi, and Spanish.
